Gilli is the Tamil remake of Telugu Okkadu. Pokiri was remade from Telugu Pokiri. Ninaithaale Inthai is the Tamil remake of Telugu Nuvve Kaavalani. Tirumala is the only option that was NOT remade from Telugu - it was based on a Kannada film.

Kaho Naa Pyar Hai (2000) was the debut film for both Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel as lead protagonists. Kalakaar was Amisha's actual debut, but not as main lead. Kalnayak (1993) featured Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri, while Naqaab (2007) and Boom (2003) starred different actors.

Surya dubbed Abhishek Bachchan's voice for the Tamil version of Guru (2007). Vikram, Simbu, and Abhishek himself did not provide the Tamil dubbing for this role.

Shahid Kapoor worked as a background dancer in Aishwarya Rai's film Taal (1999), appearing in the song Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaan Ja. He was not a background dancer for Madhuri, Manisha, or Juhi.
