Baasha (or Basha) was a landmark 1995 Tamil film starring Rajinikanth, produced under the Sathya Movies banner. The film was a massive blockbuster and cemented Rajinikanth's superstar status in Tamil cinema. Sathya Movies was a prominent production house in the 1990s Tamil film industry.

Kathal Kottai (1996) starring Ajith was produced by Sivasakthi Films, a notable production banner in Tamil cinema during the 1990s. The film was a romantic drama that established Ajith's career.

Anbe Vaa (1966), starring MGR and directed by A.C. Tirulokchandar, was an AVM production. AVM was one of the most prominent studios in Tamil cinema and produced several MGR films.

Puthu Vasantham (1996), directed by Vikraman in his debut, was produced by Super Good Films. This banner went on to produce many successful Tamil films in the 1990s and 2000s.

Villu (2009), starring Vijay and directed by Prabhu Deva, was produced by Ayngaran International. This banner was known for distributing and producing several Tamil films starring major actors.

Silambattam (2008), starring Silambarasan and directed by debutant Saravanan, was the 25th film produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers. This milestone was widely promoted during the film's release.

Veyil (2006), directed by Vasanthabalan and produced by S. Pictures (also spelled S Films), was a critically acclaimed film that won several awards. The banner was known for backing quality offbeat films.

P.C. Sriram shot Maniratnam's first three films - Roja (1992), Bombay (1995), and Dil Se (1998). Ravi K. Chandran was cinematographer for Kannathil Muthamittal (2002), Yuva (2004), and Guru (2006). Santosh Sivan shot Thalapathi (1991), Iruvar (1997), and Raavan (2010). R.D. Rajasekar only worked on one Maniratnam film - Ok Kanmani (2015), which disqualifies him from the 'more than 2 movies' criterion.

Balu Mahendra was the cinematographer for Mani Ratnam's directorial debut Pallavi Anu Pallavi (1981). Balu Mahendra was a renowned cinematographer-director who mentored many in South Indian cinema.

Roja (1992) was produced by Kavithalaya Productions, founded by legendary director K. Balachander. Mani Ratnam directed the film, but it was produced by Balachander's company before Mani Ratnam established his own Madras Talkies.

In Dil Chahta Hai, Preity Zinta's character Shalini is engaged to Rohit (played by Ayub Khan) before Aamir Khan's character enters her life. This engagement creates the central conflict. Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshaye Khanna play other roles but are not involved in this romantic storyline.

Mani Ratnam's 'Thiruda Thiruda' (1993) was inspired by the classic Western 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' (1969), following two outlaws on the run. 'Dil Se', 'Bombay', and 'Agni Natchatiram' are original stories not based on this film.

In the 1964 film 'Dosti', Mohan (played by Sushil Kumar) is the blind character who befriends the penniless Ramu. Their friendship forms the heart of this classic film. The names Dinu, Ramu (as the blind friend), and Shamu are incorrect.

Robin Williams famously voiced the Genie in Disney's Aladdin. His iconic improvisational performance defined the character and became one of his most beloved roles.
