Uttam Mohanty's first Hindi film was 'Nayaa Zaher' (1973), a remake of the Bengali film 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan'. 'Zaher' was the original Bengali version, 'Padosan' is a different film, and 'Ramayan' is unrelated to Mohanty's Hindi debut.
