Fill in the Blanks

'To add to one's worries' means 'to increase someone's worries'.

'Any' is used for more than two things; 'either' is used for two. 'Either of these' means 'either of the two'.

The verb 'enjoyed' needs to be qualified by an adverb. None other option than 3 is an adverb.

If the principal clause of a sentence is in the past indefinite tense, the subordinate clause should be in the past perfect tense (where we use the third for of the verb along with 'had').

The first blank requires present contionuous tense as it mentions the occuring of a phenomenon. The second blank requires past indefinite tense. For the third blank 'do not order' is the correct usage.

To qualify the verb 'come', we need an adverb. None other option than option 3 is an adverb.

Whenever we refer to some specific subject, article 'the' is used.
