Prior Incantatus is the spell that reveals the most recent spell cast by a wand, essentially a magical forensic tool. It was used in Goblet of Fire to examine Harry's wand. Petrificus Totalus is the Body-Bind Curse, Obliviate erases memories, and Riddikulus is used against boggarts.

The Imperius Curse is one of the three Unforgivable Curses and places the victim under complete control of the caster. Avada is part of the Killing Curse, Impedimenta impedes movement, and Diffindo severs objects.

The death spell in Harry Potter is Avada Kedavra, one of the three Unforgivable Curses. It causes instantaneous death to the victim with no counter-curse possible, and is punishable by life imprisonment in Azkaban. Crucio is the torture curse, not the death spell.

Harry Potter is a Half-Blood because his mother Lily was Muggle-born and his father James was Pure-Blood. In wizarding terminology, having even one Muggle or Muggle-born parent makes someone Half-Blood. Pure-Blood requires all magical grandparents, and Muggle means no magical ability.

Sirius Black comes from the House of Black, one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight Pure-Blood families in the wizarding world. Despite being disowned by his family, his blood status remains Pure-Blood as lineage is determined by ancestry, not personal beliefs.

Neville Longbottom is a Pure-Blood wizard born to Frank and Alice Longbottom. Both his parents were from Pure-Blood wizarding families. Despite being Pure-Blood, Neville was initially considered less gifted magically.

Draco Malfoy is a Pure-Blood wizard from the Malfoy family, one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight Pure-Blood families. The Malfoys are known for their belief in Pure-Blood supremacy and their disdain for Muggle-borns and Half-Bloods.

George Weasley is a Pure-Blood wizard, as he comes from a family with no known Muggle ancestry. Both of his parents, Arthur and Molly Weasley, are from Pure-Blood families, making all seven Weasley children Pure-Bloods by blood status in the Harry Potter universe.

Nymphadora Tonks is a Half-Blood witch. Her mother, Andromeda Black (Tonks), was born into the Pure-Blood Black family but was disowned for marrying a Muggle-born wizard, Edward Tonks. With one Pure-Blood and one Muggle-born parent, Tonks is classified as Half-Blood.

Dean Thomas is a Half-Blood wizard. He was raised by his Muggle mother and stepfather, unaware that his biological father was a wizard who was killed by Death Eaters when he refused to join them. This mixed magical and non-magical heritage makes him Half-Blood by blood status.

Snape's mother Eileen Prince was a witch from a pure-blood family, while his father Tobias Snape was a Muggle. This mixed heritage makes him a Half-Blood wizard, as established in Harry Potter canon.

Hermione Granger was born to Muggle parents (dentists Mr. and Mrs. Granger) with no magical heritage. Her Muggle-born status was a point of prejudice with pure-blood supremacists like Draco Malfoy who called her 'Mudblood'.
