Antonyms

Execrate means to detest, curse, or declare someone/something to be evil. The opposite is to bless, meaning to invoke divine favor or wish well. Praise and Love are positive attitudes but not direct antonyms to execration (which is stronger than simple dislike). Care is unrelated.

Benevolence means goodwill, kindness, or desire to do good. The opposite is malevolence, meaning ill will, malice, or desire to harm. Contempt, Hatred, and Derision are negative attitudes but malevolence is the direct antonym of benevolence.

Capricious means unpredictable, fickle, or subject to sudden changes in mood or behavior. The opposite is reliable, meaning dependable and consistent. Fixed, Solid, and Firm suggest stability but reliable directly addresses the unpredictability aspect of capriciousness.

Dither means to be indecisive, wavering, or agitated in uncertainty. The opposite is calm, meaning composed, decisive, and settled. Cry, Refer, and Deter are not directly antonyms of being indecisive or agitated.

Liability means disadvantage, obligation, or something that puts one at a disadvantage. In legal/financial contexts, exemption is the opposite - freedom from obligation or responsibility. Assumption, Consumption, and Presumption are not antonyms of liability.

Moderate refers to holding average or mainstream views, not extreme. Radical is the most direct antonym, denoting extreme or fundamental changes.

Convene means to come together or assemble for a meeting or gathering. The opposite is disperse, meaning to scatter or spread apart. Adjourn and Dissolve relate to ending meetings but not to the opposite of coming together. Postpone means to delay, not scatter.

Contempt means the feeling that someone or something is worthless or beneath consideration. The opposite is to exalt, meaning to hold in high regard or elevate to high status. Glorify, Dignify, and Enshrine are related to honor but exalt is the strongest antonym to contempt (which degrades).

Obfuscate means to make unclear, confusing, or difficult to understand. Clarify means to make clear or easier to understand, which is the direct opposite. While explain and describe are related to communication, they don't directly oppose obfuscate.

Strident describes something loud, harsh, and unpleasant to hear. Pleasant describes something enjoyable and agreeable, which is the opposite in terms of sensory experience. Musical and melodious relate to sound quality but aren't direct opposites.

Being adept is being competent and proficient at something. The correct antonym is incompetent. 

Infallible means exempt from failure or error.

Haggard means having a gaunt, sickly, lean appearance. Healthy is the correct antonym.

Being incognito is being hidden. 

Gumption means to have resourcefulness and initiative means to achieve something. Ignorance is the correct antonym.
