Antonyms

'Descend' means to go down or move downward, which is the opposite of 'ascend' (to go up or move upward). These are antonyms related to vertical movement.

'Bent' means curved, crooked, or not straight. Among the options, 'straight' is the direct antonym. 'Twisted' is actually a synonym of bent, 'level' means flat/horizontal (not directly opposite), and 'right' is unrelated to the concept of straightness.

 Revere means 'to regard with respect'. 

 Cavalcade means a procession, queue or line of people. 

 One of the meanings of 'seedy' is shabbily dressed. Hence, the opposite would be 'well-dressed'.

 Endemic means belonging exclusively to a particular or confined place. Epidemic, on the other hand, means extremely prevalent or widespread.

 Feeble means physically weak or frail. Strong is the most opposite in meaning.

The opposite of 'admit' is 'deny'. To admit means to acknowledge or confess, while to deny means to refuse to acknowledge or reject something. These are direct antonyms.

Manifest means clear, obvious, or readily visible. Obscure is the antonym - not clear, hidden, or difficult to understand. Tide, pear, and greet are not opposites of manifest.

Mercenary describes someone motivated by money rather than principle. Generous is the opposite - willing to give freely, not motivated by personal gain. Fumble, fret, and fetid (foul-smelling) are not antonyms.

Mild means gentle, moderate, or not severe. Harsh is the antonym - severe, rough, or intense. Meek (submissive), cult, and jade are not true opposites of mild.
