5G Core Network Resources

The Network Repository Function (NRF) is responsible for storing and managing network information, such as the location of network elements and the capabilities of different network segments.

The Security Function (SEAF) is responsible for providing security and authentication services, such as encryption, integrity protection, and authentication.

The Unified Data Management (UDM) is responsible for storing and managing user data, such as subscriber profiles, service subscriptions, and usage history.

The Network Slice Selection Function (NSSF) is responsible for controlling and optimizing network traffic by selecting the most appropriate network slice for each user session.

The Authentication Server Function (AUSF) is responsible for providing security and authentication services, such as generating and verifying authentication tokens.
