Teaching Special Education in Secondary Schools

The primary goal of special education in secondary schools is to ensure that students with disabilities have access to the same curriculum as their peers. The role of parents in the education of their child with a disability is to advocate for their child's needs, work with the school to develop and implement their child's IEP, and monitor their child's progress and ensure that they are receiving the appropriate services.
