Climate Adaptation and Resilience

Climate adaptation aims to reduce the vulnerability of natural and human systems to the impacts of climate change, thereby minimizing the negative consequences.

Reducing reliance on fossil fuels and transitioning to renewable energy sources is a strategy for climate mitigation, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and slow the pace of climate change. It is not directly related to climate adaptation.
