Continuous gaze is a sign of attentive body language because it shows the listener is focused on the speaker and actively engaged in the conversation. Stooped shoulders suggest poor posture or lack of confidence, crossed legs can indicate a closed or defensive attitude, and eyes down often signal discomfort or submissiveness rather than attentiveness.

A palm-down handshake shows dominance because it positions your hand above the other person's hand, which is a subtle way of establishing control in the interaction. A firm handshake is generally confident, timid shows insecurity, and the duration (short vs long) doesn't directly convey dominance the way palm orientation does.

Looking sideways while talking is a sign of distraction because it indicates the person's attention is wandering away from the conversation. When someone is truly attentive or interested, they typically maintain more consistent eye contact. Sideways glances suggest their mind is elsewhere or they're disengaged from the interaction.

Clenching fists is a sign of aggressive body language because it physically shows tension and preparation for confrontation. Closed body language is more about defensive postures like crossed arms, while open body language involves exposed palms and relaxed posture. Relaxed body language would show no tension, not the tight grip of clenched fists.

Legs crossed, folded arms, and eyes down are signs of closed body language because they create physical barriers and reduce openness to interaction. These defensive postures signal discomfort, resistance, or lack of receptivity. Open body language would involve uncrossed limbs and more exposed posture, while aggressive language would show threat indicators like clenched fists.
