Network Scalability

Network scalability is the ability of a network to handle an increasing number of users and traffic without significantly degrading performance.

Bottlenecking is a condition in which a network component is unable to handle the amount of traffic that is being sent through it. This can lead to a decrease in network performance.

Capacity is the maximum amount of data that can be transmitted over a network in a given amount of time.
