Ghajini (2005 Tamil, 2008 Hindi) is inspired by Memento (2000), specifically borrowing the anterograde amnesia plot device and revenge storyline. Both protagonists use notes/photos to track their mission.

Avvai Shanmugi (1996) is a Tamil remake of Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), both featuring a protagonist disguising as a housekeeper to be near their children after divorce.
