The Constituent Assembly of India had a Drafting Committee with 7 members, chaired by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The members were: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar (Chairman), K.M. Munshi, Muhammed Saadullah, N. Madhava Rau, B.L. Mitter, D.R. Bhandarkar, and Syed Sadullah (later replaced by T.T. Krishnamachari).

The Indian Constitution was submitted to the Constituent Assembly on November 4, 1949. This is distinct from the adoption date (November 26, 1949) and the enforcement date (January 26, 1950). The submission date marks when the final draft was presented to the Assembly for deliberation and adoption.

The original Constitution of India, when adopted in 1949, contained 395 articles. These articles were organized into 22 parts and 8 schedules. Over time, amendments have increased the number of articles significantly, but the original count was 395.

According to Article 53 of the Indian Constitution, the executive power of the Union is vested in the President, who is the constitutional head of India. The Prime Minister is the head of government, while the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and Chief Election Commissioner hold other constitutional positions. The President is the ceremonial head.

As per Article 125 of the Indian Constitution, the President receives a monthly emolument of Rs. 1,50,000. This amount is determined by Parliament by law and is charged from the Consolidated Fund of India. The figure has been revised over time through constitutional amendments.

Part XX of the Indian Constitution deals with the amendment of the Constitution. Article 368, which is in Part XX, outlines the procedure for constitutional amendments. Parts XVIII, XIX, and XXI deal with emergency provisions, miscellaneous matters, and temporary/transitional provisions respectively.

Bangladesh prohibits dual citizenship for its citizens except in limited circumstances. The USA, UK, and New Zealand all permit their citizens to hold dual nationality.
