India is the world's largest producer of sugar (from sugarcane), particularly from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. The country has the largest area under sugarcane cultivation and high productivity, making it the global leader in sugar production ahead of Brazil.

Russia is indeed among the world's largest barley producers along its fertile black earth regions. However, the ranking fluctuates with the European Union (EU-27) being the largest producer collectively. Germany is typically the top individual producer. Russia ranks second or third globally depending on the year.

Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer, accounting for about one-third of global production. The country's ideal climate and vast plantation areas in Minas Gerais and other states make it the dominant coffee producer. Germany, Italy, and Belgium are not significant coffee producers due to their temperate climates.

China is indeed one of the largest millet producers. India is actually the world's largest millet producer, but China is a significant producer as well. Millets are drought-resistant grains grown in semi-arid regions of Asia. Japan, Malaysia, and Brazil are not major millet producers.

The Bhakra Nangal Dam is indeed built on the Sutlej River, a tributary of the Indus River system. It is one of India's largest dams and provides irrigation and hydroelectric power to Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. The Ganges, Mahanadi, and Periyar rivers have different major dams on them.

The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) dams are built on the Damodar River, which flows through Jharkhand and West Bengal. The Damodar Valley Project was India's first multipurpose river valley project. The Periyar, Tapti, and Koyna rivers have their own separate dams.

The Farakka Barrage is indeed built on the Ganges (Bhagirathi) River near the Bangladesh border. It was built to divert water into the Hooghly River to maintain Kolkata's port. The Tapti, Koyna, and Bharathapuzha rivers are located in different regions of India.

The Hirakud Dam is indeed built on the Mahanadi River in Odisha. It is one of the longest dams in the world and India's longest. The dam provides irrigation, hydroelectric power, and flood control. The Periyar, Tapti, and Koyna rivers have their own separate dams.

The Idukki Dam, one of the highest arch dams in Asia, is built on the Periyar River in Kerala. It's not on the Cauvery (Karnataka/Tamil Nadu), Muchkund, or Mayurakshi (West Bengal) rivers.

Lal Bagh Gardens is a famous botanical garden located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was commissioned by Hyder Ali in 1760 and later developed under Tipu Sultan. The other options are major Indian cities but not home to this specific garden.

The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is located in Madhya Pradesh, with Bhopal being the state capital and nearest major city among the options. These temples are famous for their Nagara-style architecture and intricate sculptures.

The Konark Sun Temple is located in Konark, Odisha, which is near Puri along the eastern coast of India. It is one of the most renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India, dedicated to the Sun God.
