Hindi is the official language of Uttar Pradesh, as well as the most widely spoken language in the state.

Hindi is spoken by the largest number of people in Uttar Pradesh, followed by Bhojpuri and Awadhi.

Bhojpuri is spoken in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh, as well as in parts of Bihar and Jharkhand.

Braj Bhasha is spoken in the western part of Uttar Pradesh, as well as in parts of Rajasthan and Haryana.

Awadhi is spoken in the central part of Uttar Pradesh, as well as in parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Bundeli is spoken in the southern part of Uttar Pradesh, as well as in parts of Madhya Pradesh.
