Prophets in Islam

Prophet Yusuf (as) was thrown into a well by his brothers due to jealousy, as narrated in the Quran. This event marks the beginning of his trials and eventual rise to power in Egypt.

Prophet Moosa (Musa) (as) spoke directly with Allah, receiving divine revelation at Mount Sinai. Allah granted him the honor of direct communication, unlike most prophets who received messages through angels.

Prophet Isa (Jesus) (as) was raised alive to heaven and will return before Qayamat (Judgment Day). He is the only prophet who was taken up alive and will descend again to earth.

Prophet Isa (Jesus) (as) was born without a father through the virgin birth, as mentioned in the Quran. Allah created him through the word 'Be' (Kun) without male intervention, similar to Adam's creation.

Allah commanded the angels to prostrate before Prophet Adam (as) after his creation. Iblis (Satan) refused out of arrogance and was expelled from paradise for this disobedience.

Prophet Isa (Jesus) (as) will return to earth before Qayamat to defeat the Dajjal (anti-Christ). His descent is a major sign of the Day of Judgment in Islamic eschatology.

Prophet Dawood (David) (as) killed Jaloot (Goliath) during battle, as described in Islamic tradition. This victory established his leadership and later led to his prophethood and kingship.

Prophet Ibrahim's (Abraham's) father, Azar, was an idol maker. Ibrahim rejected his father's idolatry and destroyed the idols, calling people to monotheism.

Prophet Moosa (Musa) (as) had a stick (staff) that miraculously transformed into a serpent. This miracle was demonstrated before Pharaoh and his magicians as proof of prophethood.

Prophet Mohammed (saws) was given the eternal law (Sharia) through the Quran, applicable until the Day of Judgment. Unlike previous revelations meant for specific peoples and times, Islam is universal and final.

Prophet Nooh (Noah) (as) built the ark (ship) by Allah's command to save believers from the flood. This ark carried pairs of animals and the few faithful followers while the disbelievers perished.

Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) (as) was thrown into fire by Nimrod for destroying idols and preaching monotheism. Allah made the fire cool and safe for him, as mentioned in the Quran.

In Islamic belief, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is regarded as the final prophet sent to all of humanity, while other prophets like Nooh (Noah), Yaqoob (Jacob), and Hood (Hud) were sent to specific communities or nations.
