Infrastructure and Agriculture

Communication networks, while important for overall economic development, do not directly impact agricultural productivity in the same way as irrigation systems, transportation networks, and storage facilities.

Irrigation systems provide a reliable source of water for crops, reducing the risk of crop failure due to drought. They also enable farmers to grow multiple crops in a year, increasing agricultural productivity.
