Chilika Lake is India's largest brackish water lagoon and the second largest in Asia. It spans over 1,100 sq km across Puri, Khordha, and Ganjam districts of Odisha. The lake is a Ramsar designated wetland of international importance, home to endangered Irrawaddy dolphins and migratory birds.
