Indo-Aryan Language Revitalization

The primary goal of Indo-Aryan language revitalization efforts is to promote the use of Indo-Aryan languages in education, increase the number of speakers of Indo-Aryan languages, and preserve and document Indo-Aryan languages.

Banning the use of English in Indo-Aryan-speaking regions is not a common strategy for revitalizing Indo-Aryan languages. Instead, efforts are typically focused on promoting the use of Indo-Aryan languages in a variety of contexts, including education, media, popular culture, government, and business.

Hindi is the Indo-Aryan language with the largest number of speakers, with over 600 million speakers worldwide.
