Understanding White Balance in Photography

White balance aims to ensure that white objects appear white under different lighting conditions, thereby maintaining accurate color reproduction in photographs.

Aperture, which controls the amount of light entering the camera, does not directly influence the white balance of an image.

Auto White Balance relies on the camera's algorithms to determine the appropriate color temperature, while Custom White Balance allows photographers to manually set the white balance based on a specific reference point.

Tungsten light, commonly found in incandescent bulbs, has a warm color temperature and often requires a warmer white balance setting to achieve accurate color reproduction.
