Endangered Languages of Bangladesh

Tripuri is an endangered language spoken by the Tripuri people, an indigenous community living in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region of Bangladesh. It belongs to the Tibeto-Burman language family.

Globalization, language shift, and lack of documentation are all major factors contributing to the endangerment of languages in Bangladesh.
