The Australian pelican has the longest beak among living birds, measuring up to 47 cm (18.5 inches). Pelicans use their long beaks with expandable pouches to scoop up fish and other aquatic prey. Ostriches and kiwis don't have unusually long beaks, while swifts have short beaks adapted for catching insects in flight.

Science City Kolkata was the first Science City in Asia and was inaugurated in 1997. It's one of the largest science centers in India and features interactive exhibits, a space theater, and various galleries. New Delhi has the National Science Centre but it's not called Science City.
