Exposure for Product Photography

ISO is the exposure setting that controls the sensitivity of the sensor to light. A higher ISO value makes the sensor more sensitive to light, allowing you to capture images in low-light conditions without underexposing them.

A higher ISO value results in more noise in the image. This is because a higher ISO value amplifies not only the light signal but also the noise present in the image. As a result, images captured at higher ISO values often exhibit a grainy or speckled appearance.

For product photography, an aperture range of f/5.6 to f/8 is generally recommended. This range provides a good balance between depth of field and sharpness, allowing you to capture images with sufficient depth of field while maintaining a sharp focus on the product.

For product photography, a shutter speed range of 1/125th of a second to 1/250th of a second is generally recommended. This range helps to minimize camera shake and motion blur, ensuring sharp and well-defined images.
