Otitis Media

Bacteria are the most common cause of Otitis Media, with Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae being the most common culprits.

Infants and toddlers are most commonly affected by Otitis Media due to their immature immune systems and smaller Eustachian tubes, which are more easily blocked.
