Aviation Security and Air Traffic Control

Aviation security encompasses a range of measures and procedures aimed at protecting passengers, crew, aircraft, and airports from unlawful interference, sabotage, and terrorism.

The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) is the nodal agency responsible for civil aviation security in India. It is a specialized agency under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is responsible for providing armed security at airports, screening passengers and baggage, conducting security checks on aircraft, and other security-related duties.
