The Process Philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead

Whitehead's philosophy is based on the idea that the fundamental unit of reality is the event. Events are momentary, atomic occurrences that are the building blocks of all other entities.

Whitehead argues that events are not independent of each other, but are instead all part of the same process. This process is called the 'creative advance'.
