Babur, the first Mughal emperor, laid out the first Mughal garden in India called Ram Bagh (also known as Aram Bagh) in Agra. He introduced the Persian charbagh (four-part garden) style to India. Later emperors like Jahangir built Shalimar Bagh in Srinagar.

Warren Hastings, the Governor-General of India, ordered the construction of Golghar in 1786 after the devastating famine of 1770. This massive granary was designed to store grains for future emergencies. Robert Clive was an earlier figure, while Dalhousie came much later in the 19th century.

Chanderi saris from Madhya Pradesh are known for their fine fabric and weavers historically grew long nails to create slits for spinning extremely fine threads. Sambalpuri is from Odisha, Dhakai (now Dhaka) is from Bangladesh, and Patola is from Gujarat. Chanderi's unique weaving technique gives it a distinctive gossamer texture.

Pavadai Thavani (or Pattu Pavadai Dhavani) is the traditional three-piece attire worn by young Tamil girls before salwar kameez became popular. It consists of a long skirt (pavadai), a blouse (thavani), and a dupatta. Chaniya choli is from Gujarat/Rajasthan, while Churidar is North Indian. Bandhgala is formal menswear.

Hemis Gompa (misspelled as Hempis) is located in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir. It is the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, belonging to the Drukpa lineage. Itanagar is in Arunachal Pradesh, Gangtok is in Sikkim, and Thimphu is in Bhutan (different country).

V.V. Giri, India's fourth President, participated in the Irish freedom struggle while studying in Ireland and was imprisoned for his activities. He was influenced by the Irish independence movement. Radhakrishnan was a philosopher-diplomat, Sanjiva Reddy was a politician, and Nanda served briefly as interim Prime Minister but was not President.

The thunchen (also spelled dungchen) is a long horn instrument used in Tibetan Buddhist monastic traditions. It's played by monks (Lamas) in Ladakh, Bhutan, and Tibet. The instrument requires support due to its length and weight.

Bibi ka Maqbara in Aurangabad was built by Prince Azam Shah (son of Aurangzeb) in memory of his mother Dilras Banu Begum. It is often called the "Mini Taj" for its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. Daulatabad Fort and Gol Gumbaz are different monuments in other locations.

Kalaripayattu (note: option has typo 'Kalaraipayattu') is the traditional martial art form originating from Kerala. It is one of the oldest fighting systems in India. Kathakali is a dance-drama art form, while Chaturanga and Shatanj are ancient board games.

Nur Jahan, born as Mehr-un-nissa (also spelled Mehrunnisa), was the wife of Mughal emperor Jahangir. She was a powerful figure in the Mughal court and held significant influence. Mumtaz Mahal was Shah Jahan's wife, while Jahanara and Zeb-un-nisa were royal princesses.

Air mail service was first introduced in India on 15th October 1932. This historic flight carried mail from Karachi to Bombay and then to Madhya Pradesh (now Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu), marking the beginning of civil aviation in India for postal services.
