Lakshyagriha (House of Lac) was a palace made of flammable materials like lac and ghee, designed to burn the Pandavas alive. It was built by Purochana (also spelled Purvachan), an architect commissioned by Duryodhana. However, Vidura had warned the Pandavas, and they escaped through a secret tunnel while a Nishada woman and her five sons perished in the fire.

In the Mahabharata, Indraprastha was the magnificent capital city built for the Pandavas by Maya (also known as Mayasura), the architect of the Asuras. Maya constructed this extraordinary palace at Arjuna's request after Arjuna saved Maya from burning in the Khandava forest. The other options - Virat, Yudhisthira (misspelled as Yudhistara), and Purvachan - were not the builders; Yudhisthira was the Pandava king who ruled Indraprastha, not its architect.

In the Mahabharata, Arjuna (also known as Phalguna, born under the Phalguna nakshatra) received the mighty Pashupatastra from Lord Shiva (Mahadev) after severe penance. This divine weapon was one of the most powerful astras in Hindu mythology. Gandeev was Arjuna's bow, Divyastra was another celestial weapon he possessed, and Sudarshan Chakra belonged to Lord Vishnu/Krishna, not given to Arjuna by Shiva.
