Jain Philosophy: Core Concepts and Principles

Ahimsa, or non-violence, is the central principle of Jain philosophy. It is the belief that all living beings have an inherent value and should not be harmed.

The Jain holy book is the Agamas. It is a collection of sacred texts that were written by Mahavira and his followers.
