In the Ramayana, Rishi Viswamitra was the sage who took young Rama and Lakshmana to Mithila for Sita's swayamvar. He trained them in warfare and guided them through various adventures, including killing Tadaka. The other sages mentioned were important but not the one who led the brothers to the swayamvar.

According to Hindu mythology, Lord Hanuman indeed has a son named Makardhwaja, who was born from a fish that swallowed Hanuman's sweat. This occurred despite Hanuman being a lifelong celibate (brahmachari). Thus the statement is true.

Mohun Bagan Athletic Club won the IFA Shield in 1911, becoming the first Indian team to win this prestigious tournament by defeating a British team (East Yorkshire Regiment). This historic victory was a significant moment in Indian football history and is widely celebrated as a milestone achievement. The 2-1 victory over the British side symbolized Indian sporting excellence during the colonial era.

In the Mahabharata, Amba, who was humiliated by Bhishma during his abduction of the three Kashi princesses, sought revenge and was eventually reborn as Shikhandi. In her previous life as Amba, she obtained a boon/curse that she would be the cause of Bhishma's death. This prophecy was fulfilled when Shikhandi (Amba's reincarnation) was instrumental in Bhishma's defeat in the Kurukshetra war. Ambalika and Ambika were other Kashi princesses but not connected to this curse.

In the Mahabharata, Ashwathama received the knowledge of Brahmastra from his father Drona but did not learn how to recall or withdraw it. This became critical when he unleashed the weapon against the Pandavas, threatening to destroy all creation. Lord Krishna had to intervene to stop its catastrophic impact.

In the Ramayana, Kumbhakarna was the last of Ravana's brothers to fight against Rama. Vibhishana had defected to Rama's side before the war. While other brothers like Atikaya and others fought, Kumbhakarna's battle came later in the war sequence.

In the Mahabharata war, a supernatural solar eclipse occurred during the Jayadratha Vadh (killing of Jayadratha). Jayadratha had been granted a boon that the Pandavas could not kill him when Arjuna and Krishna were present. To break this protection, Krishna created an artificial sunset to make the Kauravas lower their guard, then brought back the sun to allow Arjuna to kill Jayadratha before sunset.
