Jatayu (also spelled Jhataayu or Jatayu) was a vulture king who witnessed Ravana abducting Sita. He fought bravely to save her but was mortally wounded. Before dying, he informed Rama about the abduction and the direction Ravana took.

Parashurama was born to Jamadagni (spelled Jamadhagni here) and Renuka. He is the sixth avatar of Vishnu, known for his axe and his vow to exterminate the Kshatriya warrior class in revenge for his father's death.

According to Hindu mythology, the goddess Yogamaya (or Durga in some traditions) was placed in Devaki's womb, then miraculously transferred to Yasoda's womb. She revealed to Kamsa that his destroyer (Krishna) had already been born elsewhere. The exact identification varies across texts.

In the Raghu dynasty lineage (Raghuvansha), Aja was indeed Dasharatha's father and Raghu's grandson. This lineage is important as Rama was Dasharatha's son, making him Raghu's great-great-grandson.

Vaivasvata Manu (also known as Sraddhadeva or Satyavrata) is indeed the current Manu responsible for Earth. He is the seventh of the 14 Manus in Hindu cosmology, and the present age is under his protection.

The four yugas in Hindu time cycles are Krita Yuga (Satya Yuga), Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga. Dvapara is spelled Dwapara here - a common variant. There is no 'Navayug' in traditional Hindu cosmology.

Urvashi, a celestial nymph in Indra's court, cursed Arjuna to become a eunuch for one year when he inadvertently insulted her by treating her as a mother figure rather than a lover. This curse later became a blessing during the Pandavas' exile at Virata's kingdom.

A loyal dog accompanied Yudhishtra on his final journey to heaven. When the gods demanded he abandon the dog before entering Indra's chariot, Yudhishtra refused to abandon his faithful companion. The dog then revealed himself as Dharma (righteousness) in disguise, testing Yudhishtra's virtue.

Mandothari, Ravana's wife, is traditionally regarded in the Ramayana as equal to Sita in chastity (pativrata). Despite being married to the demon king, she maintained her virtue and is often cited alongside Sita as an exemplar of wifely devotion and moral purity in Hindu epics.

Kishkindha (Kishkintha) was the kingdom of the Vanaras, the monkey-people led by Sugriva and Vali. This is where Rama met Hanuman during his search for Sita. The region is associated with the area around Hampi in modern Karnataka, near the Tungabhadra River.
