Dissociative Identity Disorder is characterized by the presence of two or more distinct personality states that recurrently take control of the individual's behavior.

Somatization Disorder is characterized by the presence of unexplained physical symptoms that are not caused by any organic disease. Hypochondriasis, on the other hand, is a fear of having a serious illness despite the absence of any physical symptoms.

Conversion Disorder is characterized by the presence of neurological symptoms that are not caused by any organic disease. Paralysis is a common symptom of Conversion Disorder.

Factitious Disorder Imposed on Self is characterized by the intentional production or falsification of physical or psychological symptoms in order to gain attention or sympathy. Munchausen syndrome is a more severe form of Factitious Disorder Imposed on Self in which the individual travels from place to place, assuming different identities and feigning illnesses.

Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another is characterized by the intentional production or falsification of physical or psychological symptoms in a child or vulnerable adult in order to gain attention or sympathy.

Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder is characterized by excessive daydreaming that is difficult to control and that interferes with the individual's social or occupational functioning. Hallucinations are not a symptom of Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder.

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder is characterized by severe mood swings, anxiety, depression, and physical symptoms that occur in the week or two before menstruation.

Caffeine Intoxication is characterized by restlessness, anxiety, insomnia, and other physical symptoms. Hallucinations are not a symptom of Caffeine Intoxication.

Caffeine Withdrawal is characterized by headache, fatigue, irritability, and other physical symptoms.

Nicotine Withdrawal is characterized by cravings, anxiety, depression, and other physical symptoms. Hallucinations are not a symptom of Nicotine Withdrawal.

Alcohol Withdrawal is characterized by tremors, sweating, nausea, and other physical symptoms. Seizures are a more severe symptom of Alcohol Withdrawal.

Cannabis Intoxication is characterized by euphoria, relaxation, increased appetite, and other physical symptoms. Hallucinations are not a symptom of Cannabis Intoxication.

Cannabis Withdrawal is characterized by irritability, anxiety, insomnia, and other physical symptoms.

Opioid Intoxication is characterized by euphoria, sedation, respiratory depression, and other physical symptoms. Hallucinations are not a symptom of Opioid Intoxication.

Opioid Withdrawal is characterized by cravings, anxiety, depression, and other physical symptoms.
