The Kingdom of Kota was a Rajput kingdom in Rajasthan, India, founded in the 13th century. It was ruled by the Hada Rajputs, a branch of the Chauhan dynasty. The kingdom reached its peak in the 16th and 17th centuries, when it controlled a large part of eastern Rajasthan. It was eventually annexed by the Mughal Empire in the 18th century.
