Language Testing Research

Experimental research methods are not commonly used in language testing research. This is because it is often difficult to control all the variables that can affect language test performance in an experimental setting. Instead, language testing researchers typically use quantitative and qualitative research methods, or a combination of both (mixed-methods research).
