Fire used to keep off wild animal by early people.Natural fires caused overwhelmingly by lightning are highly evident on many landscapes. Birds such as hawks, and some other predators, are alert to opportunities to catch animals including invertebrates disturbed by such fires and similar benefits are likely to underlie the first human involvements with fires. Early humans were certainly familiar with the heat of the sun. They must have observed lightning flashes. The human control of fire likely required a cognitive ability to conceptualize the idea of fire.

The early farmers needed to clear forests by cutting trees and branches. They developed a new kind of stone tool which is called neolith by archeologists. It is after this new kind of stone tool that this period of early agriculture is called Neolithic Period.

Today we use machines, tractors and tools made of steel etc. The earliest people also used tools; but these were made of stones, bones and wood. Initially, large stones were given sharp edges by very careful breaking with another stone. This gave the people a tool which enabled them to cut flesh, dig the earth for tubers and hunt animals.

The earliest people made fine, small pieces from hard stone. These pieces were called Microliths. They were fixed to wooden or bone handles which then served as knives, arrows, sickles etc. These weapons were used to dig soil, chop the trees for the bark, remove the skins of animals, clean the skins, stitch clothes out of the skin, cut meat and bone, chop fruit and roots and hunt the animals easily.

The rock shelter site of Bhimbetka ranges from the Paleolithic period to the Historic period.

The relics of the hunting and food-gathering man are available in Bimbetka, Hunasagi and Kurnool in India. There are many other sites in which such remains have been found. Most of these sites have been discovered along the banks of rivers and lakes. 

This is so because we do not find evidence to the linguistic development or to the use of script. We do not find any written records for the study of history of this period. 

Period
for which there are no written records are called Prehistory.
Prehistory is the period that begins with the appearance of the human
being, about five million years ago , and finishes with the invention of
writing , about 6,000 years ago.It is a long period divided into three
stages i.e Palaeolithic Age , Neolithic Age and the Metal Age.

Microliths
were small , polished and sharp stone tools. They were marked for their
fine edge. They were too
small to be used by themselves and would have been set into wooden or
bone handles to make composite tools. Microliths were formed from prismatic
blades, using the sharp unmodified lateral edges as the cutting edge.

Neolithic age means new stone  age. Neo is a root we use in the English language, it comes from the Greek word "neos", which means new or recent.

They wanted to protect themselves from wild animals and bad weather.

The earliest people hunted, gathered plant produce, made stone tools, and painted on cave walls. Some of them lived in the open air sites while some of them took shelter in the caves. In these caves we find the remains of their life in the forms of paintings on the cave walls they left behind.

Choppers, borers, and points are classic lithic tools associated with the Paleolithic (prehistoric) period. A razor is a modern grooming tool not associated with prehistoric culture.

Megalithic cultures were advanced enough to produce pottery, various metal ornaments, and tools like axes, making 'All of these' the correct choice.
