Therefore, globes are the most accurate way to show the Earth's surface.

While GPS is used for finding precise locations and satellites collect data, GIS is the comprehensive system that integrates and analyzes this information.

Remote sensing is defined as the process of acquiring information about the Earth's surface from a distance, typically using sensors on satellites or aircraft. This allows scientists to gather data without making physical contact with the area being studied. Therefore, getting information from far away is the most accurate description.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system that provides real-time location and direction tracking, making it the primary tool for driving navigation. GIS is used for analyzing spatial data, and remote sensing is used for gathering data from a distance, neither of which directly provide driving directions.

A large-scale map shows a small area in great detail, such as a city street map, because the ratio of map distance to actual distance is relatively large. Absolute location, on the other hand, provides a precise coordinate using latitude and longitude. Therefore, describing a place relative to another is relative location.

A diagram, such as a flowchart, is the most effective visual tool for showing the sequential steps in a process. Maps show geographical locations, graphs show numerical relationships, and charts organize data, but diagrams are specifically designed to illustrate how a process works step-by-step.
