Public facilities and my school - class-VIII

School is a social institution of education. It plays a pivotal role in human development. Social development is one of the important dimensions. Schooling provides a person the logical thinking. It helps the student to emerge into a responsible being and help to develop its social sphere i.e., the community. It is through education that provides a human being the elements of human relation, economic efficiency, and civic knowledge. Furthermore, the technique of problem-solving helps the students to find a solution to a problem and make strategies. Thus, a school can help in community development or to solve a problem.

Things given by society to schools are as follows:

Backed
by the school, students launched a cleanliness drive in the village.
They prepared posters asking people not to spit in the streets and to
dispose garbage properly. They presented street plays and convinced the
residents of the importance of cleanliness. Thus, the school had a part
in obtaining the 'Clean Village' award for their village. It helped the
village to build the unity.

Each
school has its own unique identity. Various other facilities are also
provided except the basic facilities also. They are Library, Laboratory,
Medical facility, Study corner, Playgrounds, School fence, Counselling
centre, Insurance scheme, Ramp, etc.

A
school is given assistance in the construction of classrooms,
libraries, laboratories,and procurement of sports equipment by various
sections of society. The community has a role in the development of a
school.

All
schools have a Parent Teacher Association and a Mata Palak Sangh. They
bring about a dialogue between parents and teachers. The school respects
all parents alike. We must also inform our parents about the happenings
in the school. We learn with the help of both teachers and parents.
Their interactions are to our benefit.

Many
people and institutions help to set up a school. Many parents, past
students, writers, artists, sportsperson,scientists and industrialists
lend a hand in the growth of a school.

Education
is a fundamental right of every child. We must use public services and
facilities very responsibly. Schools lend a hand in the development of
the community. Every child has the right to go to school and learn.

Society helps in the development of schools. It provides all the basic help to schools like land, donations, teachers, pupil etc. The society actively participates in all the school functions. No schools could be able to run without the help of society. A society forms a base for the school development.

Following are the persons who help in getting school developed.

A teacher plays a very important role in shaping a child's future. A good teacher is also responsible for the development and growth of a society. It is the teacher who linked the society and the school. A teacher brings creativity, discipline, sense of co-operation, mutual respect and knowledge in children. Not only students but a teacher teaches all these things to the society also.

The list of public facilities are as follows:

Right to Education is a Fundamental Right. It came into force on 1st April 2010. According to this act, every State shall provide free and compulsory education to all the children between the age of six to fourteen years. It is the right of every child to get themselves educated. They must go to school and complete primary education.

It is said that school is our second home. It is because our major time is spent in school. It is our world outside the home because we play and learn with our friends. Like in the home we are taught the moral values, similarly, the school shapes our behaviour. It establishes a solid foundation of knowledge. We treasure the time we spent at our school. School is a family of many families together.

Public transport is transport system available for use by the general public. For example bus, taxis, railways, ship, trams, ferries, etc.

School and society are interlinked with each other. Without each other support, neither of them will be able to grow. Society provides the basic infrastructure to the school and school provides the way to lead a better and good life to the society. 

Parents are the first teacher of a child. The early steps of socialisation and personal hygiene are taught by parents only. The teacher helps in all-round development of a child. Teachers set routines of children and teach them in a friendly way so that they can grasp each and everything. Schools provide the best medium for learning by mentors.

The community is a social group of human beings. A community gives prime importance towards educating its members and this can be done by establishing schools in the community. Education of the children is a social priority and this is not possible outside the community. Schooling helps a person to not only learn facts but also help him to develop the proper knowledge and skills. The importance of education can't be denied. Proper schooling helps in building a better community as a whole.

School not only shape a child's future in terms of study but it also provides the necessary things that are very important to lead a good life ahead. School teaches us how to be disciplined throughout our lives. It teaches us the sense of co-operation and team work. It increases our creativity. School teaches us how to be honest and humble. It teaches us to be kind, polite and trustworthy. That's why society sends its children to schools.

Schools primarily provide education. Nowadays schools are developing several activities to engage children to grow into responsible and healthy adult being. By educating children schools are contributing to the progress of society and nation as a whole. Children develop skills, art, and values and pursue a career in their skills of interest. Schools role cannot be denied in educating and progressing the society.

Schools play a very vital role in the development of society. Schools are established to fulfill the necessary requirements in the society like good education, social culture, sense of co-operation, teamwork, ethics, mutual respect etc. All these things are necessary for the smooth functioning of a society. Schools provide a basic infrastructure to the society. That's why schools are established.

School and society are interlinked with each other. The society provides the basic infrastructure like land, donations, pupil, teachers etc for the smooth functioning, growth, and development of a school. In the same way, the school provides education, knowledge, ideas, creativity, discipline, sense of mutual respect to the children. That ultimately helps in the growth and development of the society. Thus if the school develops the society also develops.

Society plays a very important role in the development of the school. It plays a very vital role in removing mistrust and distance between people and school. It nurtures transparency of information and a culture of mutual respect. Society is therefore called the first beneficiary of the school service.

A school is a social institution. School serves a number of purposes from building confidence to teaching us important lessons of life. School provides idea, culture, discipline, and gives us an opportunity to learn more about world culture and our history. School teaches us how to work in a team. School prepares us for the further battle of our life.

Society is a group of people living together in a more or less ordered manner. Society consists of men, women, children, actors, artists, students, officers, industrialists, businessmen etc. All these people help in the development of society. School also comes under the purview of society. A school consists of teachers, students, parents of students, industrialists who give donations, administrative bodies etc. These all people are the part of society. Without them, a school can't run. So the society is called the owner of the school.

School is a necessity for the individual in a functioning society. The society was the first to apply for schools. Society gives us an understanding of social norms in schools. For a functioning society, school is very necessary.

Society plays a very important role in the development of schools. Society provides the necessary infrastructure for the smooth functioning of the school. It provides the necessary donations from Industrialists, businessmen. actors to establish schools and for its redevelopment.

School teaches us the following things:

A school represents society.  students from across the different community, caste, religion, races function under the leadership of the same authorities and share the same rules and regulations. Such wide differences prepare a school going child for the future. School as miniature society helps students to instill tolerance,  compassion and adjustment toward each other. The students work in discipline and as team cooperate each other just as what people in society do.
