Albedo is the measure of reflectivity of a surface. An increase in albedo means more solar radiation is reflected back into space, which results in less energy being absorbed by the Earth, leading to a decrease in the radiative equilibrium temperature.

Good urban planning focuses on the organized and efficient use of land. Rational land use ensures that resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of the population.

Ecosystems that are maintained or created by human intervention are referred to as man-made or artificial ecosystems. Examples include agricultural fields, gardens, and reservoirs.

Leaded fuel in the form of lead gasoline is banned recently due to its extremely harmful effects on health and pollution caused by it. Public awareness programs educate citizens about environmental issues, which encourages responsible behavior and advocacy for policies that lead to environmental protection.

Melting of mass ice, glaciers around the world have caused increase in the sea level. The global warming is the main reason for the melting of ice, which are also a big reservoir of fresh water.
