Mir Qamar-ud-Din Siddiqi, Asif Jah I founded the Asif Jahi Dynasty in the year 1724. His Seven generations of the dynasty ruled for more than 200 years. The rule continued till 17 September 1948 when last Nizam had to surrender to police action and gave away Hyderabad.
