The smoke coming out from the industries contains both chemicals and paricles. It has small particles of dust, carbon, metals, other solids and radioactive materials. All these mix with the air and pollute it. These are also responsible for acid rain.

Chemical companies are responsible for all the three types of pollution. The smoke released from these companies pollutes the air, also they release their waste in water and thereby pollute the water and the waste they dug up in ground pollutes the soil and makes it barren causing soil pollution.

With increase in the industries the pollution is also increasing to a great extend. More the industries , more is the smoke with dust particles is released in air and water and more is the pollution. Also global warming increases as the trees are cut down for the industrial place to develop.

The USA is historically one of the largest emitters of carbon dioxide due to its large industrial base and energy consumption.

• Electronic waste" or "E-Waste" may be defined as discarded computers, office electronic equipment, entertainment device electronics, mobile phones, television sets, and refrigerators.
  
•  This includes used electronics which are destined for reuse, resale, salvage, recycling, or disposal.
  
• E-Waste includes almost any household or business item containing circuitry or electrical components with either power or battery supply. 
  
• Many of these products can be reused, refurnished, or recycled.
  

As developing countries undergo rapid industrialization to boost their economies, industrial pollution levels typically rise significantly.

India produces significant amounts of various types of waste, including e-waste, industrial waste, and chemical waste, due to its large population and growing industrial sector.

Ship manufacturing and breaking industries involve heavy metals, paints, and solvents, which are primary sources of chemical waste.

Reducing carbon dioxide emissions is a primary strategy for mitigating industrial pollution and its contribution to global climate change.

The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 an Act of the Parliament of India to control and prevent air pollution in India. It was amended in 1987.
