Article 124(4) of the constitution states provision for the impeachment of the judges of the Supreme Court.

If the Supreme Court is asked by the President to give advice on a question of law under Article 143, then the Supreme Court may refuse to give advice.

In law, the term 'sub judice' is a Latin term, which means under judgment. In other words, it means a particular case or matter is under trial or being considered by a judge or court.

Delhi has a separate High Court of its own since 1966.

In P. Rathinam vs Union of India, Supreme Court supported the decision of the High Court of Bombay. In Maruti Sripati Dubal case, court held that under Article 21 'right to life' also include right to die and laid down that section 309 of Indian Penal Court which deals with ‘attempt to commit suicide is a penal offence’ unconstitutional.

A waqf is an unconditional and permanent donation of movable property with the ownership of God by a muslim for a religious and charitable cause.

Guwahati high court has the territorial jurisdiction over the four states. They are Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
