Battle of Plassey was fought between Siraj-ud-Daulah and Robert Clive.

Balaji Baji Rao (Nanasaheb) witnessed the zenith of Maratha power during his reign from 1740-1761. Under his leadership, the Maratha Empire reached its greatest territorial extent, extending from Punjab in the north to Tamil Nadu in the south. This period included the famous Battle of Panipat in 1761, which marked the turning point and decline.

The Third Battle of Panipat was fought on January 14, 1761, between Ahmad Shah Abdali (Durrani) and the Maratha Empire. Abdali's forces decisively defeated the Marathas, marking a turning point in Indian history and weakening Maratha power.

Mahendra Varma and Narasimha Varma (also known as Narasimhavarman) were famous Pallava dynasty kings who ruled in the 7th-8th centuries CE. Mahendra Varma was known for his patronage of arts and architecture, while Narasimha Varma built the magnificent shore temples at Mahabalipuram.

Sher Shah Suri's tomb is located in Sasaram, Bihar. It was built by his son Islam Shah Suri and is considered one of the finest examples of Indo-Islamic architecture. Sikandra contains Akbar's tomb, Fargana is in Uzbekistan (Sher Shah's birthplace), and Lahore is in Pakistan.
