Iltutmish, the third Sultan of Delhi and son-in-law of Qutubuddin Aibak, completed the construction of Qutub Minar. Qutubuddin Aibak had started construction, but Iltutmish added three more stories and completed the monument. The tower is 73 meters tall.

Alexander the Great fought the famous Battle of the Hydaspes against King Porus in 326 BCE on the banks of the Jhelum River (called Hydaspes in Greek). Kautilya, also known as Chanakya, wrote the Arthashastra - an ancient Indian treatise on statecraft, economics, and military strategy. He served as the chief advisor to Chandragupta Maurya, the founder of the Mauryan Empire. The Arthashastra is considered one of the most important works on political science and governance in ancient India.

The East India Company was established on December 31, 1600, by a royal charter granted by Queen Elizabeth I. This British trading company played a pivotal role in establishing British colonial rule in India. The company's establishment marked the beginning of formal British commercial and political involvement in the Indian subcontinent.

Babar (also spelled Babur) was the first Mughal Emperor who founded the Mughal Empire in India in 1526 after defeating Ibrahim Lodi at the First Battle of Panipat. He was a descendant of Timur and Genghis Khan, and his dynasty ruled India for over 300 years. Babar established the empire that would reach its zenith under Akbar the Great.

Jayadeva was a 12th-century Sanskrit poet who composed the 'Geeta Govinda', a lyrical poem celebrating the love between Radha and Krishna. This work is considered a masterpiece of Vaishnava literature and had a profound influence on Bhakti movement devotional poetry. Fakr-un-nissa (also spelled Fatima Fakhr-un-Nissa) was the mother of Tipu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore. She was the wife of Hyder Ali, Tipu's father and the previous ruler of Mysore. Historical records confirm this as the correct name of Tipu Sultan's mother, though she is less frequently mentioned in historical narratives than her husband and son.

Tipu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore, was famously known as the 'Tiger of Mysore' for his fierce resistance against British colonial expansion. He inherited this title from his father Hyder Ali and was known for his military innovations including the use of rocket artillery. Tipu Sultan died fighting the British at the Siege of Srirangapatna in 1799.

Aurangzeb's full name at birth was Muhiuddin Muhammad (also spelled Muhi-ud-din Muhammad). He was the sixth Mughal emperor and ruled from 1658 to 1707. The name 'Aurangzeb' was actually a title meaning 'Ornament of the Throne,' which he adopted later. His birth name Muhiuddin Muhammad is well-documented in historical records.

Sarad Chandra Bose (also spelled Sarat Chandra Bose) was the elder brother of Subhash Chandra Bose and was indeed a prominent freedom fighter. He was a lawyer and a key figure in the Indian independence movement, though he followed a more constitutional approach compared to his brother's militant stance. Sarad Chandra Bose was part of the Congress Party and served as a member of the Congress Working Committee.
