The premises of a car showroom are to be renovated. The renovation is in terms of flooring certain areas which are to be floored with marble or granite. All rooms/reception and pantry are rectangular. The area to be renovated comprises of a reception area for customers measuring 33 m by 39 m, General Manager’s room measuring 23 m by 27 m, a pantry measuring 38 m by 36 m, a service desk measuring 31 m by 23 m and a display area measuring 39 m by 31 m. The total area of the car showroom is 6000 sq. m. The cost of granite flooring is Rs. 240/sq. m and the cost of the marble flooring is Rs. 280/sq. m. The display area, service desk and pantry are to be floored with marble. The General Manager’s room and the reception area are to be floored with granite. No other area is to be renovated in terms of flooring.
