DTP stands for Desktop Publishing, which refers to the creation of documents using page layout software on a personal computer. ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) was developed by the US Department of Defense and was the first operational packet-switching network, serving as the foundation for what later became the modern Internet.

HTTP is primarily a retrieval protocol designed for requesting and receiving resources from web servers. Unlike FTP or TELNET which allow bidirectional operations, HTTP follows a request-response model where clients retrieve data from servers without persistent modification capabilities.
