The Champaran Satyagraha (1917) was Mahatma Gandhi's first major political campaign in India, involving indigo farmers in Bihar. Gandhi employed his method of nonviolent resistance to fight against the oppressive tin-kathia system imposed on farmers by British planters. This campaign established Gandhi as a national leader and demonstrated the effectiveness of satyagraha as a political tool in India.

The Ajanta Caves are located in Maharashtra state, specifically in the Aurangabad district. These 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments date from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE and contain some of the finest surviving examples of ancient Indian art, particularly paintings and sculptures depicting the life of Buddha and Jataka tales.

'Usne Kaha Tha' is a famous Hindi short story by Chandradhar Sharma Guleri (1883-1922), set in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre aftermath. It's considered a masterpiece of Hindi short fiction. Vrindavan Lal Verma wrote historical novels, Bhagwati Charan Verma wrote 'Veh Jagat Apna' (Buniyadi series), and Jainendra Kumar was known for psychological fiction like 'Sukhata' and 'Tyagpatra'.
