Despite being born into asura (demon) lineage, Prahlad's unwavering devotion led Vishnu to incarnate as Narasimha to protect him from his father. Vishnu blessed Prahlad, became his mentor and protector. Hiranyakashipu was Prahlad's father (an asura king), Dhruv was a human devotee who became the pole star, and Sugreev was the Vanara king from Ramayana - not demon-born.
