The Cuban Peso (CUP) is one of two official currencies used in Cuba, alongside the Convertible Peso. The peso has been Cuba's currency since the 19th century and is issued by the Central Bank of Cuba. Several Latin American countries use the peso, including Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia.
