Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), located on an island in the Persian Gulf. It's the UAE's second-largest city after Dubai and serves as the federal capital. Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Syria are all Middle Eastern countries but Abu Dhabi is not in any of them.
